Every trade runs on the same few moving pieces.
Work comes in, gets done, gets invoiced — with stock and customers to keep straight. Yours might be called a repair order, a service call, or a production job. Omni runs all of them.
The idea
Most software is built for one kind of business. Omni is built from the pieces every business shares.
Underneath every business is the same handful of moving pieces: work that comes in, stuff you keep on hand, people you do it for, and money that changes hands. Omni gives you those pieces. Your trade just has its own words for them.
Different words. Same moving parts.
You’ll see Omni’s words on screen — order, inventory, customer — in your language. This table is a translation, not a setting. Where the details matter, you add your own fields with your own labels.

Common questions
Is Omni industry-specific software?
No. It’s one platform you configure to your business. The industries above are examples of what fits, not limits.
Can I rename things to match my trade?
Not the built-in labels — you’ll see order, inventory, and customer on screen, in your language. Some types already carry trade names: a work order is a Repair Order, a Custom Order, or a Service Job. What you can change is the detail: add your own fields, with your own labels, wherever your trade needs them.
How much setup does it take to fit my business?
It’s configuration, not a build project. Turn on the parts of Omni you actually use, add the fields your trade cares about — vehicle, serial number, unit, job number — and start taking work. You can do all of it during the free trial, before you enter a card.
What if my industry has compliance rules?
Omni runs the operational side: orders, inventory, customers, and billing. It is not a system of record for regulated clinical or health data, so it complements, rather than replaces, any compliance-specific system you’re required to use.
Do I have to replace Shopify or QuickBooks?
No. Omni works alongside the tools you already use. It’s the operations layer behind them, not a rip-and-replace.
