Know what happened. Know why. Know what to do.
Most systems can tell you what your numbers were. The gap is the Tuesday you notice margin slipped and spend the afternoon in a spreadsheet working out which of eleven things caused it.
Most owners carry three or four questions they never get around to answering, because answering them means building a report first. How much did that supplier's price rise cost me. Which customers quietly stopped ordering. Where did the margin go in March.
Type the question the way you would say it out loud and get the rows back, then ask the follow-up. Every plan can do this, and the answer comes from your own orders, costs and customers rather than an industry average.
Three questions, in the order you ask them
Ask in plain English
No report builder, no query language, nobody else to wait on. Ask a follow-up in context and download the rows behind any answer as CSV, Excel or JSON. Included on every plan.
Omni's Take: why it moved
The month closes four points down on margin. Everyone has a theory and nobody has the number. Ask why, and get the drivers: which products, which customers, which locations, and by how much.
Act on it there and then
You spot the shortfall on Thursday, note it for later, and find the same note on Monday. Replenish the location or turn a cross-location need list into draft purchase orders, one per vendor, without leaving the answer.
The report library
Forty reports covering sales, margin by SKU, COGS, inventory valuation, vendor spend, AR aging and pipeline, all date-ranged and all exportable to CSV or Excel when you want the standard cut.
An accounting pack your accountant can open
Period-close figures in both QuickBooks and Xero column shapes, on every plan including Launch. Push transactions straight through their APIs on the higher tiers, or hand over the file.
A hard cap on AI spend
Each plan includes an AI allowance and it stops when it is spent rather than billing you for the overage. Watch it drain in the same panel you ask questions in, and see what used it.
Runs on Power — $699/mo
Your storefront and your ledger stay where they are
Omni reports on the operation it already runs for you: the orders, purchasing, stock and customers. Shopify carries on selling and QuickBooks or Xero carries on keeping the books. The accounting pack exports in both their column shapes on every plan, and on the higher tiers transactions push straight through their APIs. Nothing here asks you to move your storefront or redo your chart of accounts just to get a report out.
Questions people ask
Which plan do I need to ask my data a question?
Any of them. Asking your data in plain English is on all five plans, along with exporting the rows behind an answer and the accounting reporting pack. The full forty-report library starts on Grow, dashboard analytics on Scale, and advanced BI plus Omni's Take on Power. The tier shown above is Power because this page describes Omni's Take, not because asking questions costs extra.
Does the AI write its own database queries?
No. Questions are routed to a fixed set of things Omni already knows how to answer, and anything outside that set is refused rather than guessed at. It never writes SQL and it never reaches your data through a side door, so an answer is either computed from your own records or it does not arrive.
Can it compare my business to others in my industry?
No, and it will say so rather than estimate. Benchmarks like that come from averaging years of customers in a single trade. What you get here is depth on your own history instead: the specific product, customer, location and week behind a change.
What happens when the AI allowance runs out?
The AI features pause until the month resets, and there is no overage line on your bill. The rest of Omni carries on as normal, including every report in the library, because those are not AI features and are not metered.
