Omni for jewelry stores: repairs, custom work, appraisals
The sale is the easy half. Omni runs the half that lives on tickets, envelopes, and text messages.
Most jewelry software handles the easy half of your day. A customer likes a piece, you ring it up, they leave happy. That part is solved.
The other half is where the paper starts. A ring comes in for sizing. A customer wants a piece that doesn’t exist yet. An insurer needs a document by Friday. Those jobs live on tickets, envelopes, and text messages — and they’re the ones that go wrong.
The case that walks in
Take the piece in, record what needs doing, photograph its condition, and hand over a claim ticket. The job carries its own history from the bench to the pickup. When the work is done the customer hears from you automatically, and pays when they collect.
The jewelry piece that doesn’t exist yet
Custom work fails at approval, not at the bench. Sketches, quotes, and a customer’s blessing move with the job instead of sitting in someone’s inbox. Everyone can see which stage a piece has reached without asking the jeweler.
The document an insurer will accept
Appraisals produce a certificate, not a favor you do at the end of the month.
Your bench stays your bench
Keep your CAD, your casting house, your grading lab. Omni takes the piece from the moment it crosses the counter to the moment it goes back: the intake, the quote, the approval, the bench queue, the layaway, the certificate, the payment, and the stock across every case and safe.
Runs on Scale — $399/mo
Questions people ask
Can I take a repair in and let the customer know when it's ready?
That is the job it was built for. The piece comes in against a claim ticket, moves through the bench, and an email goes out when it is ready to collect. Email sends through your own mail account, so it comes from your shop rather than from us.
Do the appraisals produce something an insurer will accept?
Appraisals print as a certificate with your details on it, rather than a line on an invoice. Appraisals need the Scale plan; repairs, custom work and layaway are on Grow.
We already use CAD and send casting out. Does that have to change?
No. Keep the design tools and the casting house. Omni holds the commercial half — the intake, the quote, the approval, the bench queue, the payment and the stock.
